Solaris is a 1961 Polish science fiction novel by Stanisław Lem. It is about the ultimate inadequacy of communication between human and non-human species.

In probing and examining the oceanic surface of the planet Solaris from a hovering research station the human scientists are, in turn, being studied by the sentient planet itself, which probes for and examines the thoughts of the human beings who are analyzing it. Solaris has the ability to manifest their secret, guilty concerns in human form, for each scientist to personally confront.

Solaris is one of Lem’s philosophic explorations of man’s anthropomorphic limitations. First published in Warsaw in 1961, the 1970 Polish-to-French-to-English translation of Solaris is the best-known of Lem's English-translated works.

extraterrestrial (alien) life on a far-distant planet. Solaris, with whom Terran scientists are attempting communication, is almost completely covered with an ocean that is revealed to be a single, planet-encompassing organism. What appears to be waves on its surface is later revealed to be the equivalent of muscle contractions.

Kris Kelvin arrives aboard the scientific research station hovering (via anti-gravity generators) near the oceanic surface of the planet Solaris. The scientists there have studied the planet and its ocean for many decades, a scientific discipline known as Solaristics, which over the years has degenerated to simply observe and record the complex phenomena that occur upon the surface of the ocean. They've thus far achieved only the formal classification of the phenomena with an elaborate nomenclature — yet do not understand what such activities really mean in a strictly scientific sense. Shortly before psychologist Kelvin's arrival, the crew has exposed the ocean to a more aggressive experimentation with a high-energy X-ray bombardment. Their experimentation give unexpected results and becomes psychologically traumatic for them as individually flawed humans.

The ocean's response to their aggression exposes the deeper, hidden aspects of the personalities of the human scientists — whilst revealing nothing of the ocean’s nature itself. To the extent that the ocean’s actions can be understood, the ocean then seems to test the minds of the scientists by confronting them with their most painful and repressed thoughts and memories. It does this via the materialization of physical human simulacra; Kelvin confronts memories of his dead lover and guilt about her suicide. The torments of the other researchers are alluded to and sound even worse than Kelvin’s personal purgatory.

The ocean’s intelligence experiences and expresses physical phenomena in ways difficult for their limited earth science to explain, emotionally upsetting the scientists and psychologically putting them on tilt. The alien (extraterrestrial) mind of Solaris is so greatly different from the human mind of (objective) consciousness that attempts at inter-species communications are a dismal failure.

The Celestine Prophecy is a 1993 novel by James Redfield that discusses various psychology and spiritual ideas which are rooted in many ancient Eastern Traditions and New Age Spirituality. The main character of the novel undertakes a journey to find and understand a series of nine spiritual insights on an ancient manuscript in Peru. The book is a first-person narrative of the narrator's spiritual awakening as he goes through a transitional period of his life.

The book discusses various psychological and spiritual ideas that are rooted in many ancient Eastern Traditions, such as the claim that vegetarianism can help an individual to establish a connection with the Divine. The main character of the novel undertakes a journey to find and understand a series of nine spiritual insights on an ancient manuscript in Peru. The book is a first-person narrative of spiritual awakening. The narrator is in a transitional period of his life, and begins to notice instances of synchronicity which is the realization that coincidences may have deep meaning.

The story opens with the male narrator becoming reacquainted with an old female friend, who tells him about the Insights, which are contained in a manuscript dating to 600 BC, which has been only recently translated. After this encounter leaves him curious, he decides to go to Peru. On the airplane, he meets a historian who also happens to be interested in the manuscript. As well, he learns that powerful figures within the Peruvian government and the Catholic Church are opposed to the dissemination of the Insights. This is dramatically illustrated when police try to arrest and then shoot the historian soon after his arrival.

The narrator then learns the Insights, one by one, often experiencing the Insight before actually reading the text, while being pursued by forces of the Church and the Peruvian government. In the end, he succeeds in learning the first nine Insights and returns to the United States, with a promise of a Tenth Insight soon to be revealed. The Insights are given only through summaries and illustrated by events in the plot. The text of no complete Insight is given, which the narrator claims is for brevity's sake; he notes that the 'partial translation' of the Ninth Insight was 20 typewritten pages in length.
In the novel, the Maya civilization left ruins in Peru where the manuscript was found, whereupon the Incas took up residence in the abandoned Maya cities after the Maya had reached an "energy vibration level" which made them cross a barrier into a completely spiritual reality.

HOSEA - unfaithfulness and redemption

Another prophetic book, another round of sin, judgement and redemption.Today, as we begin reading the book of Hosea, we may feel a sense of déjà vu. This is not strange for the prophetic books do follow this consistent format. The prophets are people called by God to warn His people and turn them back to Him after all.
However, that does not mean that we only need to read one prophetic book to know all of them because each book may warn of a different sin and its resulting punishment. Even if they were to talk about the same things, they do so differently in order for the message to get through one way or another so that the end result of salvation and deliverance is met.
This is seen in the book of Hosea for although the message is one we are probably extremely familiar with, being that of faithlessness and redemption, its delivery is extraordinarily impactful. This is because the message is conveyed through the life of the prophet.
In fact, the whole story is much like an angsty love movie in which the protagonist’s love is unrequited (Hos 3:1) and his affections spurned. Let us read and see how the tale unfolds.

Twins !

A book by Michelle Zink . It told about a twin sisters that were told that one of them will die. It told about the negative and the positive things about having a twin daughters.

There are some negative things about having twins sisters . First, this book said that having a twin sisters will give a bad luck in that family. Futhermore, the following son or daughter will has a bad luck in his or her life. And finally, the worst thing, this story told that the one of this twin sisters will die and it's happening in that book.

But this story also told us about the postive things of having a twin daughters. First, if they have a brother or a sister, that brother and sister live happily and the special thing is that twin's brother and sister is a kind person. They always help this twins and a twin daughters will have a happy marriage.

Well, this is just a core of this book. But as I told before, this is just a prophecy book, it's not a reality. It depends on you. Will you believe it or not? Of course if I were you, I will believe the positive things only. lol

Book of Nostradamus

In this set of materials, I will disscuss about the prophecy of Nostradamus, just for information, Nostradamus was a French Aphotecary and reputed seer who published collections of prophecies that have since become famous worldwide. He is best known for his book Les Propheties ("The Prophecies"), the first edition of which appeared in 1555. Since the publication of this book, which has rarely been out of print since his death, Nostradamus has attracted a following that, along with the popular press, credits him with predicting many major world events. The prophecies have in some cases been assimilated to the results of applying the alleged Bible Codes, as well as to other purported prophetic works.

First, I have searched some information about the prophecy of Nostradamus in 2010. He said that this 2010 will be a very bad year. There will be some disasters, not only natural disaster but also the others disaster like crisis economic, world war III, etc. However, we not need to worry because this was just a prophecy. It is depend you , will you believe it or not?

There were some predictions about this year. First, The Book of Nostradamus said that World War III will be appeared in November 2010. Second, there will be some conflicts between Western Europe and United States of America. Third, there will be some conflicts between Great Britain and French. Fourth, there will be military conflict along Krimea. Fifth, Europe will increase their economic. Sixth, there will be disaster in Black Sea involves sulphuretted hydrogen.

And how about the crisis moneter?
Economic crisis will increase, many big companies can not bear and finally went bankrupt. These will lead into religious conflict, ethnic conflict, famine conflict, and the other.

He also said about the Global Warming. This year the weather will be very hot. I think it is true, don't you feel that this recent year is so hot

But Pavel Globa, a researcher Nostradamus prophecies, said that Russia's economy would improve, while Europe and America, declined. This happens because the Russian authorities to change their financial policies.
